Nintendo has announced that a new ds redesign 2008 is done and will be released late in 2008 when the ds lite sales drop in three major countries.

My opinion the new ds should be and have:
-slimmer and smaller.
-A more powerful single processor with about 64mb RAM.
-A microsd slot to place music,videos and user save files.
-if possible bluetooth to transfer files
-Built in web Browser with flash and full javascript support.
-A large high resolution screen ...etc

With Doom4 announced there have been several screens floating around the www .id software has announced that ID will not use Microsofts DirecX 10 so it will probably will stick to OpenGL rather.John D. Carmack announced that doom 4 will be published but it has been pushed as ID is already in the task of developing another one (probably quake zero)
