The nvidia G100 will be based on new architecture.The chips will be based on 45nm technology :-D which means half the power consumption of the current generation GPU's.It will sport more than 1.5 billion transistors and with about 2 Teraflops of shader processing power!!
The cards will also support Super fast DDR4 and DDR5 RAM.The cards will support DirectX 11 in microsofts upcoming OS WINDOWS VIENNA which is scheduled to be released by 2009.The geforce 10 series are expected to come out in the first Quater of 2009 and will support Nvidia CUDA 2 technology

My opinion the new ds should be and have:
-slimmer and smaller.
-A more powerful single processor with about 64mb RAM.
-A microsd slot to place music,videos and user save files.
-if possible bluetooth to transfer files
-Built in web Browser with flash and full javascript support.
-A large high resolution screen ...etc

With Doom4 announced there have been several screens floating around the www .id software has announced that ID will not use Microsofts DirecX 10 so it will probably will stick to OpenGL rather.John D. Carmack announced that doom 4 will be published but it has been pushed as ID is already in the task of developing another one (probably quake zero)
