VIA today held a press conference to announce the new Mini-ITX 2.0 concept and its alliance with Nvidia. During the conference we were all treated to a demonstration of an a optimized PC, a VIA Nano based Mini-ITX board using a Nvidia graphics card running Crysis. VIA's Mini-ITX form factor is over 6 years old now and was created primarily with the embedded market in mind. This demonstration is an excellent example of where Mini-ITX is heading: Full featured platforms that include PCI Express x16 support for optimized graphics and HD video.
